UK Premiere of Dreams Under Your Feet by Brighton Festival Chorus

On Saturday 19 March, Brighton Festival Chorus and conductor James Morgan will perform the UK premiere of Ēriks’ 30-minute choral suite Dreams Under Your Feet at All Saints Church in Hove. Dreams Under Your Feet, composed for Leipzig’s Gewandhaus Choir in 2018, is a setting of five poems by Christina G. Rosetti, W. B. Yeats, and Sara Teasdale. Other works in this BFC spring concert include Elgar’s Serenade for Strings and Ēriks’ work In Paradisum.

Hailed as ‘one of the country’s leading symphony choruses’ (The Times), Brighton Festival Chorus (BFC) has a long-standing relationship with the Brighton Philharmonic Orchestra and has performed with all major British orchestras, including the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the London Symphony Orchestra, the Philharmonia Orchestra, and the BBC Concert Orchestra. BFC has made ten appearances at the BBC Proms and been nominated for two Grammy awards.
